Preparatory Program

Jump start your age 7-8 new beginners with our Preparatory program!  Students attend weekly 45-minute lessons that are filled with a variety of musical learning activities.

Your budding pianist will become a master of rhythms and keyboard geography with EZ Keys Musical Fun on the Farm.  Menehune Musical Fun will introduce them to composers, music eras, and musical instruments. Watch them benefit as they develop their communication, problem solving and social skills. Performance opportunities with their peers build confidence.

An introduction to the grand staff concludes this course, and Preparatory graduates are now off and running, fully prepared for our Accelerated program!

Accelerated Program

In our Accelerated program age 7-18 beginners and beyond attend weekly 60-minute piano labs. This full hour spent here at the studio allows students to learn their music during their lesson - at least for the entire first year. Students go home feeling confident and accomplished. Playing music at home that they've already learned makes practice feel easy! The result is happy students and happy parents - the dreaded practice problem has been solved! 

       Accelerated Program Benefits -

• One full hour here at the studio each week - most beginner lessons are only 30 minutes.
• Practice at home feels easier, less parental involvement. 
• Dramatically improves sight reading skills. This is the #1 skill needed to learn music quickly.

EliteiProgram

Advancing pianists are invited to begin the Elite program when reaching the intermediate level, usually around level 4-5 of their method books. Our advancing students have enjoyed using their piano skills both in and out of the studio by -

• playing keyboard for their school bands 
• being part of their youth praise teams
• serving as accompanist for school and church youth choirs
• presenting mini-recitals at nursing homes
• playing offertories and specials at church services
• and even by playing at a local restaurant (with tips!)
