Join the fun with our try-it-out "Blast Off" Piano Camp! Campers meet for 60-minutes each day. This is a great way for new piano players, ages 5-12, to get their feet wet and see how much fun it is to learn piano in a small class setting!
Your new pianist is introduced to fundamentals of reading and counting rhythm, and keys on the piano. Campers enjoy learning through theory games, ensemble playing, fun sheets and more with special mini-recital for parents the last day of camp!
Young Beginner Pianists
Children age 5-6 start their piano journey in the fall with EZ Keys Musical Fun on the Farm, and continue their adventure in the winter/spring with Menehune Musical Fun! Classes meet weekly for 45-minutes and are filled with a variety of musical learning activities.
Your budding pianist will become a master of rhythms and keyboard geography, and be introduced to composers, music eras, and musical instruments. Watch them benefit from group music study as they develop their communication, problem solving and social skills. Weekly performance opportunities with their peers build confidence.
An introduction to the grand staff concludes this course, and Menehune graduates are now off and running!

Elementary thru Teen Pianists
Students age 7-18 meet weekly for 45-minutes in a fun and exciting small class setting. Each student has individual use of a full sized 88-key digital piano, plus class instruction on our Baldwin Model R Artist grand piano.
Students enjoy learning in a relaxed setting where friendships often develop as they experience the joy of playing music together!
Students progress rapidly, learning to become strong, independent musicians with superior rhythm counting and sight reading skills.
Advancing pianists are invited to begin solo lessons when reaching the intermediate level, usually around level 3 or 4 of their method books. New family advancing students are accepted as openings permit following an in-person interview with sight-reading and keyboard activities to determine skill level.
Our advancing students enjoy using their piano skills both in and out of the studio by -
♬ playing keyboard for their school bands

♬ serving as accompanist for school and church youth choirs
♬ presenting mini-recitals at nursing homes
♬ playing offertories and specials at church services
